Agreement

By accessing Valen VR's website or entering into a placement agreement with Valen VR, you agree to these terms. If you are entering into a placement agreement on behalf of a school district or library system, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Service description

Valen VR provides neuroscience-based VR hardware and software for mental wellness support in educational and public library settings. Services include device installation, remote monitoring, firmware updates, and on-site maintenance.

Appropriate use

Valen devices are intended for voluntary, self-directed use by students and library patrons for stress regulation and mental wellness. They are not intended to replace professional mental health services, crisis intervention, or clinical care.

Institutions agree not to require, coerce, or pressure any individual to use the device, and to maintain a voluntarily accessible space free from stigmatization.

Limitation of liability

Valen VR's liability in connection with any placement agreement is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding any claim. Valen VR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Modifications

Valen VR may update these terms. Continued use of the service after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated with 30 days' notice.
